Strasbourg

This photo is from my 20 minute walk in Strasbourg, France.
It was almost unbearably cold, even though i was wearing two parkas.
That night, when Ben and I were eating dinner at the venue, a little boy came to the window, and was tapping and saying something in French. Ben thought it was a fan, and was waving and smiling, but we then realised that it was the cooks young son, trying to get in to see his mother.

I used to live a half hour away from Strasbourg, in Germany. They had a killer flea market, I went as often as possible. It's an interesting place, a hybrid of French and German culture, even the signs were all in both languages.

Let me know if you and Ben need feeding when you are back in Northampton this May, I know all the good places! =)

Cirilia,
wow, i heart flea markets like nothing else. well, maybe i like choclate more, but chocolate makes me sad but flea markets dont. (1 i have a 'come down' the next day or two 2. also that i can;t only eat chocolate and nothing else, that also can make me feel a little sad.)
yes, maybe next time in NH we could go craft shopping and look at knitting project or something, i would love to get back into it! and eating stuff too, that would be fun.
